Model Clubs Spartanburg Lions Club
Club Chair, ZC Dr. Gene Spiess  PCC Bill Filmore (center), Area I-3 N/MN Coordinator, spoke to the Spartanburg Lions Club congratulating them on exceeding their minimum goal of $50,000 and challenging them to go further. LCI Convention - Boston  Lion Dr. Gene Spiess addresses the CSFII Leadership Seminar at the LCI Convention in Boston concerning the Spartanburg's success as a Model Club. In Spartanburg, South Carolina, the club kicked-off its local campaign by announcing 12 gifts of US$1,000 each from club members at a banquet honoring the Club’s 75th anniversary. At the banquet, the Spartanburg Chamber of Commerce presented the key to the city to Past International President Jim Ervin, in honor of the club’s long service to the community.
