HALFTIME MEETING

       Lions from all over Alabama met in Birmingham on November 19, 2006 to discuss CSFII progress and plan strategy for the remainder of the Campaign.

 

Lion Kevin Cherep from CSFII headquarters in Oak Brook explained some of the strategies for the campaign.

 

Sector Coordinator Yamandu Acosta discussed some of the upcoming deadlines for the campaign.



PID Scott Storms, Constitutional Area I Representative, from Windsor Locks, Conn. came down for the meeting and shared his thoughts about the campaign and the urgency we have at this moment to succeed.



PIP J. Frank Moore III, Campaign Vice-Chairman and International Coordinator, shares about Alabama's commitment to CSFII and the expectations of Lions around the world.

Daleville Lions Club exceeds its challenge goal of $25,000 and makes Emerald Visionary Society by obtaining over $1,000 per member.  The Daleville Club is currently at $28,850 in its campaign.

PIP J. Frank Moore II (Vice-Chair of CSFII) presents to PCC Bill Filmore (Club Coordinator for Daleville Model Club) the Emerald Visionary Society Patch at their Annual Christmas Social held at the Sr. Citizens' Center on December 14, 2006.

         At a City Council Meeting the Daleville City Council presented a Proclamation to the Daleville Lions Club declaring May 2006 as the “Daleville Lions Club Campaign SightFirst II Month” and urged all citizens to support the fundraising efforts of the club in their effort to save or restore the eyesight of millions throughout the world.
